It is all about the inner values
The selection of high-quality materials is crucial for the load-bearing capacity of a spring in an axle assembly of a commercial vehicle. Schomäcker works exclusively with certified steel manufactures for original equipment (OEM). From the outside, a spring may look geometrically correct, however the inner values of the chemical composition, the hardness structure and the specifically applied residual stresses are decisive for its service life.

Criteria such as process stability, compliance with tolerances, adherence to deadlines and correct quantities, in addition to a market driven price, are part of our evaluation system. On this basis, we classify and select Certification according to DIN EN 9001 and especially according to IATF 16949
